Woman in 80s taken to hospital with back injury after crash
A WOMAN in her 80s has been taken to hospital with a back injury after a crash today in Rainford.
Officers were called to Cross Pit Lane just after 9.30am today, Friday, May 17 following reports that a cyclist, the woman in her 80s, had been involved in a crash with a Black Nissan car.

The ambulance service attended and have taken the woman to hospital for assessment.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said the injury is "not a major trauma".
