KNUTSFORD Mayor Cllr Peter Coan is due to officially open a new fish and chip shop on Friday.
Hooked on the Heath is being opened by Craig Buckley, Victoria Howard and Chris Johnson, in Northwich Road, alongside the Heath.
The business partners were delighted by the huge response to their 'soft' opening over the Royal May Day weekend, when customers were queuing out of the door.
Cllr Coan is to open the business at 4.30pm, and Hooked on the Heath will open six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
Victoria said: "We can’t believe how supportive the local community are.
"Everyone seems really excited to have a fish and chip shop back. We are over the moon with the response and feedback from the local community."
