Knutsford Guardian:

Love And Life

In 1989 Mackenzie chose to move with his family back to Yorkshire and become a professional artist.

This 30th anniversary tour marks a significant moment for the artist.

As well as being official artist for the Tour de Yorkshire, he has unveiled a public sculpture at the Tees Transporter Bridge to nationwide acclaim, is touring America and Japan, and is the artist for Welcome to Yorkshire garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Mackenzie said: “I can hardly believe it is 30 years since I first started selling my work; so much has happened in that time, and this 30th year feels like a special moment to reflect on all those years and celebrate.

"Along the way I have met so many amazing people, travelled to places I never dreamed I would visit - and all because of my art.

"I have already started the tour in America and Japan, and now I am starting the UK leg and am really looking forward to meeting everyone at the Whitewall Gallery from May 10 to 18.

“It's going to be a great event, and an opportunity to introduce the 30th collection as well as thanking everyone who has supported me over the years.”
