A MAN charged with the murder of mum-of-five Rachel Evans is due to appear back in court this morning.
Carl Harrison, 46, of Hignett Avenue, Parr, who is charged with murder is set to face Liverpool Crown Court today for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Police were called to Hignett Avenue, Parr on Monday, March 11 around 12.50pm to reports that a woman had been stabbed.

A post-mortem confirmed that 46-year-old Rachel Evans, from St Helens died of multiple stab wounds.
Harrison previously appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' and the Crown Court last month and was remanded into custody ahead of today's plea hearing.
A possible trial has been listed for August 5.
