LET your little ones explore a wilder Cheshire this week, at Nature Tots sessions in Marbury Country Park.

The heshire Wildlife Trust sessions are for pre-school children aged two to four, taking place every Tuesday morning during term time and including outdoor games, stories and nature-themed crafts.

Based around Forest School principles, Nature Tots provides an opportunity for youngsters to experience and learn from nature.

Robyn Moseley, wild communities officer at Cheshire Wildlife Trust, said: “We play games and outdoor activities themed around wildlife.

"Every session is different – one week we might go hunting for minibeasts, another week we’ll search for twigs, leaves, and seeds to make colourful, textured collages to take home, and we always tell stories and explore our surroundings.

"The sessions encourage independent learning and team working – all of which will help to boost communication skills, problem-solving, physical development and creativity.

“We go outside rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and be ready to get wet and muddy.”

Sessions, from 10am to 11.30am, start on Tuesday, April 23 and run over five weeks.

Block booking is essential and the block costs £20 per child for Trust members (£4 per session) or £25 per child for non members (£5 per session).
