OLD favourites rub shoulders with newcomers at this year’s Wilmslow Community Show on July 7.
The ever-popular dog show will be returning in a bid to find, amongst others, the dog with the waggiest tail and the best rescue dog.
The show welcomes Wilmslow Dog Grooming Boutique & Spa from Hawthorn Lane as this year's sponsor of the Dog Show ring, and in addition to the show there will be dog games as well as displays.
A motorbike display is one of the headline acts
A full schedule of events is also planned in the main arena, the headline acts this year being a motorbike display and a BMX display, as well as the return, after a break last year, of the dog and duck display team.
Whatever your age, if you are inspired by the BMX display, there are a range of bicycles to try out in the 'free activity area'- ranging from penny farthings, bikes with wobbly wheels or frames to unicycles.

If you feel your town show isn't complete without a bit of friendly competition, then entries are now being taken for competitions in the horticultural marquee.
Whether you are growing flowers and produce, are into handicrafts or cookery, there is likely to be a class for you.
There are also handicraft and cookery classes specifically for the under-18s. Details of the classes and entry forms can be found on the show's website.
This year's show will be on Sunday, July 7 at Wilmslow Carnival Field on Altrincham Road.
More details can be found at wilmslowshow.co.uk, including details of how to book tickets now to avoid queues on the day.

The Wilmslow Community Show is the largest event in the town, supported by organisations, charities and businesses from both the town and wider area.
Thanks to Wilmslow Town Council some of the activities are free once you are in the showground.
