FIREFIGHTERS fought for three hours to put out a chimney fire last night in Station Road, Goostrey.
The crew from Middlewich Fire Station used a 13.5-metre ladder, height safety equipment and specialised hoses to tackle the fire from above and below.

The fire was reported at 8.23pm, and the chimney was well alight when the fre crew arrived.
