KNUTSFORD May Day visitors are being invited to step back in time on a special walk.
The new walk, which is entitled 1,000 Years of King Street, is being staged on Saturday, May 4 by Knutsford Heritage Centre at 11am.
The walk will include historic facts and anecdotes, and is taking place as a special Royal May Day event following its launch the previous day, Friday, May 3, at 2pm.
The cost is £5, and there is no need to book.
The walk will continue until September, every Friday at 2pm, and the first Saturday of the month at 11am.
The heritage centre is staging an exhibition entitled May Day – A Century of Change – 1919 to 2019, until September 22.
The exhibition looks at how the Knutsford Royal May Day celebrations have changed over the past 100 years.
The centre thanked The Lord Eldon pub in Tatton Street for being the exhibition sponsor.
