CIRCUS Funtasia has rolled up at Orford Park.

The talented troupe are performing in Warrington for a Easter spectacular from today, Thursday, until April 28. With high-flying acrobats, fire-eaters and 360-degree motorcycle stunts, the 90-minute show is said to ‘pack a punch’.

The big top show has a bit of a Peaky Blinders theme this year.

Tommy Shelby lookalikes will be doing handstands across the giant rotating ‘wheel of death’ while holding onto their flat caps.

And the ‘globe of death’ returns with new riders and routines to impress petrol heads.

Ringmistress Tracy Jones said: “Nothing beats the exhilaration of seeing motorbikes riding at top speed upside down inside a metal cage, millimetres apart.”

There’s also fire-breathing, knife-juggling, and aerialists who drop from spectacular heights from the roof of the big top as well as the UK’s only female ‘sky-walker’. In a moment of calm, a duo of gymnasts will tell a love story using a combination of dance and acrobatics.

And in between the acts, ‘the Geek’ – described as a cross between Lee Evans and Freddie Mercury – will give a nod to Queen’s anthems while making audiences laugh.

Tracy added: “Consistently high quality acts combined with a seamless modern style and a great soundtrack, make this circus stand out as one of the best in the UK.”

Ticket prices start from £10 for children and £12 for adults, but look out for discount vouchers in shops. Group tickets are from £25 for four people. Visit circusfuntasia.co.uk or call 07706 168507.
