The premises earmarked for the fish and chip shop
SHOP premises in Parkgate Lane, Knutsford, are earmarked for a fish and chip shop.
Planning approval is being sought by Michael Lucas from Handforth for a change of use at J H Oakes and Son shoe repairers at 6 Parkgate Lane to an A5 food takeaway.
The fish and chip shop would be open from 11am to 8.45pm Monday to Saturday, and would employ two full-time and eight part-time staff.

Planning permission for the change of use is being sought from Cheshire East Council, and comments on the scheme, reference 19/1691M, can be submitted on the council’s planning portal until May 8.
