ALL girl string crossover group String Infusion are promising a memorial performance as the headliners for the classical evening at this summer’s Knutsford Music Festival.

The music festival is returning from June 20 to 23, and the Classical Evening has been a popular event at the festival since its launch in 2017.

It is returning to the Courthouse on Sunday, June 23.

String Infusion were formed in Manchester, and have quickly become extremely popular throughout the UK, performing recently at the Pride of Britain Awards in London.

The group, led by creative director Emma Rushworth, will play a mixture of classical and modern pieces on their LED instruments at the classical event.

Emma said: “Music is there to be shared, and that’s precisely what we do.

“Our sets are built from scratch to create intense, breath-taking performances wherever we go, taking the music you adore and turning it into something truly memorable.

“We are really looking forward to performing and supporting Knutsford Music Festival.”

Supporting the headliners will be voice and piano duo Sophie Leaver and Mark Newberry, who studied classical music together at University of Liverpool.

The pair will play a varied classical repertoire at their first appearance at Knutsford Music Festival.

The concert will begin at 4pm on Sunday, June 23. Tickets are £15, and will be available to buy online very soon or from Knutsford Town Council Offices on Toft Road.

Tickets may be available on the door subject to availability.
