GIRLS at St Augustine’s Priory, Ealing, chose four causes this year for their annual charities Week.
The Rainbow Trust, MIND, Compassion in World Farming and Alzheimer’s Research UK will now have £4,000 to be divided equally between them.
Charities Week includes talent shows, bake-offs, bring-and-buy sales, a disco for the juniors, own-clothes days, a fair and a non-violent game of Assassins, where senior pupils and staff chase down their allotted victims and stick ‘dead’ labels on them.
In addition, St Augustine’s staff member Jessica Corr, is running the London Marathon in support of the Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK.
