ACTIVE Cheshire’s Everyday Superhero Awards are back, and nominations are open.
The awards celebrate those in Cheshire who have inspired others to move more, no matter how big or small.
A ceremony announcing winners will take place on September 25 at Chester Racecourse.
Categories include Active Kids, Workplace, Minds, Neighbourhood, Health and Social Care, and Community Sport.
Anne Boyd, CEO of Active Cheshire, said: “The awards will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the everyday superheroes disguised as the local residents, businesses and organisations in Cheshire and Warrington.
"We know there are great stories of the work and achievements accomplished by our community, and this is the perfect platform to let these stories come to light.”
The awards support the ambition to embed physical activity into all aspects of everyday life by 2040.
Active Cheshire has so far seen more than 100 businesses, primary schools and early young providers taking a pledge to embed physical activity into their kids and workplace environments through a free active plan.
