GANDEYS Circus Ringmaster Joel Hatton and his wife Ashleigh arrived on the Heath in Knutsford late on Monday after the circus’ sell-out shows in Newcastle Under Lyme.
Ashleigh was expecting her baby within a week, and it seems the bumpy journey and the excitement of Gandeys arriving in Knutsford became too much for the baby, who decided to make an early appearance.
The Hattons were rushed to Wythenshawe Hospital, where Aurora Romy Hatton arrived at 6.26am (yesterday) Tuesday.
The couple chose the name Romy after Romy Bauer, a contortionist and aerial performer with the circus.
The circus is at the Heath from tomorrow (Thursday) to Sunday.
