A WOMAN needed oxygen therapy at a Handforth home, after a gas cooker was accidentally left on.
Fire engines from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended a house in Richmond Avenue around 5.50pm yesterday, Monday.
On arrival they discovered the accidental gas leak, and ventilated the building while using a gas monitor.
A woman was provided with oxygen therapy at the scene as a precautionary measure, before being passed into the care of paramedics.
Firefighters were at the address for approximately 50 minutes.
