KNUTSFORD musician Anthony Jardine said his band jumped at the chance of supporting a mental health charity this month.
Anthony is a member of Liverpool-based Polar States, which is playing at the You Are Not Alone Festival at The Whiskey Jar in Manchester on Saturday, March 30.
“It’s a sad reality that mental health issues are so prevalent amongst society,” said Anthony.
“We’ve all been affected by it, directly or indirectly, at some point in our lives.
“So when we were asked to perform at #YANAfest in support of Manchester Mind it was obvious we just had to do it. We’ll see you there!”
The band performed at December’s Christmas lights switch-on in Knutsford.
The other members of the band are Paul Tong and Jack Sadler from Bolton and Josh Humphreys from Liverpool. For more on the band visit polarstates.com
The band is undertaking a European tour early this summer, ahead of a busy festival season, and a support slot with Toploader at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
