CAFÉ manager Gosia Baluszynska has won an award for the outstanding service she provides.

Gosia runs The Snowdrop Café at Grassland Nursery in Lower Peover, and won the Café of the Year Award from Seamons Cycling Club.

The award is given by the Altrincham-based club to the cafe which provides the best service to club members.

Club members vote for the best café, and The Snowdrop Cafe faced competition from venues around Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

Club president Nigel Harrop said: “It was a pleasure to give this award to Gosia, who is a fantastic host and always welcoming.

“The cafe is not a particularly long cycle for our club members, so we make sure we end up there by taking quite a circular route to ensure we get the miles in before we enjoy the cake.”

Seamons Cycling Club is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the area.
