Crews tackle a fire in a large skip on Stanneylands Road in Wilmslow
CREWS tackled a skip fire in Wilmslow.
Firefighters were called to Stanneylands Road shortly after 8pm last night to a fire in a large skip.
Crews set up a water shuttle to get enough water to the area and extinguished the fire with an extended hose reel jet.
They then damped the area down to make it safe.
Firefighters were at the scene for around two hours.
