A BUSINESSWOMAN has been recognised for her success as a female entrepreneur and has a badge to prove it!

Carla Wells from Mobberley, Cheshire was honoured Jacqueline Gold and awarded with a prestigious #WOW badge.

Carla was one of three winners selected by Jacqueline after she entered Women on Wednesday — a competition launched by Jacqueline in 2011 to celebrate the growing number of UK female entrepreneurs and businesswomen.

Women on Wednesday (#WOW) takes place every week and is run through Jacqueline’s Twitter page.

When selecting the winners, Jacqueline looks for businesses that are interesting, that have strong brand values and that she thinks have potential to grow and succeed in their industry.

She looks for quality products and services, well designed websites and entrepreneurs who demonstrate good business acumen and who have spotted a gap in the market that meets the consumer’s needs.

Carla said: “Having worked in the serviced office industry in the city centre for over a decade it was my dream to bring my passion for workspace closer to home in Cheshire, this is how WorkSmart evolved.

“Since its launch in October, 2018, WorkSmart has gone from strength to strength and is being recognised as a high-end suburban office space provider.

“My passion, energy and belief in my vision has enabled me to achieve exactly what I set out to do here in Altrincham, which was to create a beautifully bespoke and vibrant hub of amenities, attracting forward thinking people. From the warm and cosy feeling you get when you enter, to the enviable location, you can’t help but feel inspired when you’re working away in the space. I absolutely love coming to work at WorkSmart and am delighted with its overwhelming success in such a short time.”

Jacqueline Gold said: “Work Smart Hub offers the ideal working environment, fully equipped with super-fast broadband and all the facilities required to help you optimise your working potential. Carla’s commitment to designing a space which could work for every type of worker, from the ‘no-distractions’ to the ‘collaborative and inspired’, has created the perfect hub to promote a healthy and productive work lifestyle. I wish Carla every success in the future.

“For me, #WOW is all about inspiring and celebrating female entrepreneurs. My vision is for women in the UK to come together, celebrate their strengths, skills and fantastic businesses, and do all that they can to inspire other women to realise their potential.

“The WOW community is a fantastic network which offers female entrepreneurs the opportunity to share advice, support each other, trade and most importantly celebrate their successes!”
