THE Middlewich Heritage Trust is hosting a consultation event regarding the refurbishment of the Brunner Mond Memorial Garden.

The event takes place on Saturday, March 2 in the Middlewich Library from 9.30am to 1.30pm.

The aim of the event is to give the community the opportunity to contribute to the new memorial garden in memory of those who did not return home from war.

Kerry Kirwan, heritage development officer, said: “We have been delighted to work with local schools that have created some lovely work.

“Now it is the turn of the community.”

The project is part of the Middlewich and the Great War Centenary Project, supported by Heritage Lottery Fund, Tesco ‘Bags of Help’, Middlewich Heritage Trust, Middlewich Town Council and Jack’s.
