SOME 10 three-bedroom properties are being offered for sale through shared ownership.

Shared ownership is a government-backed scheme offering the opportunity to part-buy and part-rent with a low deposit.

The homes are available from £55,300 (for a 35% share) with a rent of £235 per month. Larger shares of up to 75% can also be purchased.

The homes at Pavilion Green, just a stone’s throw from the park and cricket club in Royton, Oldham are the first in a series of new developments from Fabric Living Ltd, part of housing association First Choice Homes Oldham, which specialises in quality suburban homes available for shared ownership.

The homes are expected to be ready by the end of March 2019 and are being developed in partnership with Oldham Council and Homes England.

Dave Woods, homes and investment director at First Choice Homes Oldham, said: “Demand for homes in Oldham is on the rise, so we are delighted to be providing these new homes in such a prime spot in Royton.

“Owning a home is still out of reach for many people so we have ensured all our new Fabric Living homes at Pavilion Green offer families, couples or singles an affordable way onto the property ladder.

“At First Choice Homes Oldham we are committed to building 1,000 new homes for people at all stages of life across the borough to keep improving our communities for local people both now and long into the future.

“We look forward to seeing the first residents move into Pavilion Green in April and launching a further two Fabric Living developments in Bardsley and Sholver.”
