THERE has been plenty going on in Warrington over the past week.

Here are our favourite pictures from the past seven days.

We were granted access inside the new Bridge Street development. This will be the main entrance area for the new three-storey council buildings.

And then  it was gone. The main memorial at Warrington Cenotaph was removed overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. It will be returned when riverbank work is completed in time for Remembrance Sunday.

Ten Appleton residents won £30,000 each in the Postcode Lottery in Sunday. And they looked pretty pleased about it

And Jade Broderick must feel like a lottery winner. She was pulled from a burning house in Bewsey 24 years ago and went back to meet the firemen who helped her at Warrington Fire Station.

The Wire Flyer made his second appearance at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday and waved another challenger aside

Seeing as it was Valentine's Day this week we asked readers for their pictures highlighting why they love Warrington.
