PAUL Snook is pictured with one of the giant haggis cooked at a Rabbie Burns-themed quiz night.
Paul and Wendy Snook, along with Amanda Stephenson, generously gave their time to cook a wonderful Burns night supper for more than 60 people at Knutsford Sports Club.
Money raised at the quiz night was split between the Greater Manchester Mayor's Homeless Fund and the election fund to support Joe Godden, Labour Candidate for Knutsford in the May Cheshire East Council Elections. Photo by Craig Lunnon
The Mayor’s Homelessness Fund was set up by Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham on the first day he took office. The fund supports his aim to end the need for rough sleeping in Greater Manchester by 2020.
The Mayor’s Homelessness Fund aims to provide a Bed Every Night, so no one needs to sleep rough on the streets of Greater Manchester this winter.
You can read more about the Mayor’s Homelessness Fund on the Mayor’s Blog.
If you see someone sleeping rough, there is information on the Street Support website and mobile app about who you can contact.
The site also has information about other important ways you can help, from volunteering to donating items.
