An officer checks traffic speed in Manor Lane
POLICE are urging drivers to slow down after enforcing the speed limit in Manor Lane, Holmes Chapel, today.
A Police Community Support Officer said: "Community officers have been out in the snow today on Manor Lane with the speed enforcement gun.
"Six drivers were above the 30mph limit, with the highest recorded at 42mph - please slow down.
"PCSO Chesters has been on Middlewich Road this morning with the speed gun in both the 40mph and 30mph areas.
"There were no drivers speeding in the 40mph zone, however six were found to be doing 37+ in the 30mph."
