The fire crew attended at about 3.20am
A FIRE crew from Knutsford attended a chimney fire in St John's Avenue, Knutsford, at about 3.20am today.
On arrival crews assessed the chimney with a thermal imaging camera and exposed the chimney flue above the log burner to investigate the heat source.
They then removed embers and debris from the flue to remove the heat source.
