A VIDEO showing a group of girls and boys taunting three homeless people in the town centre has gone viral on Facebook.
At around 10.30pm last night, Thursday, two members of the public came across the scene on Bridge Street.
One woman said: "It was sickening to see, the people involved are absolute scum.
"The homeless people were keeping themselves to themselves in a doorway when the group approached them."
Before the video started one witness said the gang were hounding and prodding the homeless individuals.

In the footage, which has been viewed more than 9,000 time, two boys move away when they realise they are being recorded.
The woman added: "I felt sick watching what was happening - it beggars belief that people would do that.
"It definitely wasn't friendly banter."
