A CELLAR fire in Northwich was caused by an electrical fuse board yesterday, Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a building fire in Chester Road at 3.49pm on December 9, with two fire engines from Northwich attending.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "On arrival at the scene crews found that the was isolated to the cellar area.
"Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the cellar where they discovered the fire involved an electrical fuse board.
"The team isolated the electrics and then used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire."
Fire crews were at the scene for around two hours and 20 minutes.
