IF you’re looking for a unique gift for your family and friends this Christmas why not sponsor one of the animals at The Animal Sanctuary Wilmslow for as little as £20 per year?

Sanctuary volunteer Nicola Foster said: “It would be an ideal Christmas present for your animal-loving family and friends.

“Sponsors will receive a special gift pack with some small keepsakes from the sanctuary – on behalf of the animals who can’t thank you themselves.

“To make sure there really is something for everyone there are three packages to choose from – Silver, Gold, Platinum.

“All packages include a certificate of adoption, A5 picture of your chosen animal with biography, Flea-mail (monthly e-newsletter) and a special invitation to an open afternoon in the summer to meet your chosen animal.

“The Platinum package is the choice for the real fan and is a must have for the young (or young at heart) animal lover which includes a cuddly toy, 2019 calendar and a keyring.

“Not only is our sponsorship scheme a great gift but it’s a fantastic way to support the sanctuary in the process.

“We genuinely appreciate your support and cannot thank you enough. For more information about the packages and animals available to sponsor and to order online please visit heswilmslow.co.uk/sponsor-an-animal”

Orders must be received by Monday, December 10 to guarantee delivery before Christmas. If you miss this deadline it isn’t too late. You can also visit the sanctuary to sign up - however no orders will be taken after Friday, December 21.

If you are looking for a last-minute stocking filler the sanctuary has plenty of 2019 calendars left for £4.50.

There are also Christmas cards to choose from — sold in packs of 10 with envelopes (same design) at £3.80 per pack.

Could you spare an extra item on your shopping list to help the animals in our care?

The sanctuary team will be on site every day during the holidays looking after our animals and a foodie gift would be very much appreciated by those animals who will find themselves homeless this Christmas.
