YEAR 13 student Charlotte Simpson is to lead a team of new Sixth Form ambassadors at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School.

Charlotte was a Sixth Form ambassador last year, and will use her experience and leadership skills to guide the team in supporting the sixth form.

“Mrs Warren and I had the privilege of recruiting students from year to act as our new Sixth Form ambassador team,” said sixth form director Joanne Camm.

“We were extremely delighted with the level of interest this role created, and are extremely pleased to have appointed eight outstanding students.

“All applicants who were interviewed performed exceptionally, showing real maturity and diligence in their preparation.

“This is still a relatively new role, only introduced last year, and we are excited to see how it will be further developed this year.

“Charlotte will guide the team in supporting the sixth form over the next few months, with a particular focus on transition from year 11 into the sixth form college.”

The team consists of Emily Green, Heather Padley, Laura Henderson, James Wild, Charlotte Simpson, Coalan Wiggins, Bella Mac, Martin Abberley and Isobel Henderson.
