A MIDDLEWICH motorcyclist has died following a crash in Cledford Road yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, around 7.10pm on Tuesday, December 4, to come forward.
Officers attended the scene in Sproston and found that a motorcycle had collided with a metal fence on the outskirts of a farm.
Sadly, the rider of the motorcycle – a 20-year-old man from Middlewich – died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
"Anyone with information in relation to the collision should call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 259826."
