FRIENDS of the Moor has received a major boost towards the cost of installing seating in the shelter on the Moor.
The group was one of the charities supported by the Parkgate Co-op over the past 12 months, with £2,556 being raised for the Friends group.
Chairman of Friends of the Moor, Adam Keppel-Green said: “We were delighted to be selected as one of the Co-op’s charities this year, and were overjoyed by the amount raised.
“Thank you to all the members of the Co-op who chose us as your charity.”
Friends of the Moor is a small community group working together to make the Moor a better place for all.
It is looking for new committee members to help drive forward small projects and help bring the annual Play Day back for 2019.

Friends group members received a cheque from Parkgate Co-op manager Christopher Stewart.
