HERE is a first glimpse inside new town centre pizza and wine bar Cork & Dough.
Ian Pitts, owner of town centre venues Imperial Bar, the Church and the Secret Garden, is creating Cork & Dough on Ormskirk Street, St Helens.
The eaterie – specialising in pizza, wine and craft beers – will open in December, delivering a pre-Christmas boost to St Helens town centre.
Mr Pitts said: “After 12 months in the making we are very excited to introduce to you all our newest venture Cork & Dough.
“I hope it shows what I am trying to create by everything I do is a city feel, something special right on our doorstep.”
The venue will open next to the entrepreneur’s existing town centre attractions.
Mr Pitts added: “This latest venture will specialise in Italian woodfired pizza and amazing wines and craft beers.
“We started this journey 12 months ago, putting in a lot of work to fully understand what this would entail to be as authentic as possible and we feel like we are almost ready.
“We are so looking forward to opening this December.”
