THE Entertainer toy store has opened with a fanfare at Barons Quay.
The grand ceremony on Saturday, which followed a soft opening earlier in the week, gave families the chance to meet their favourite characters including LEGO Batman and Robin and The Entertainer’s ‘Jack’.
Balloon modelling and in-store toy demonstrations were also on the agenda, and the first 20 families through the doors at 9am had the chance to pick a lucky dip gift card worth up to £100.
The Entertainer becomes the fifth chain to open at Barons Quay, after Asda, Wildwood, Odeon, and H&M.
Cllr Brian Clarke, Cheshire West and Chester Council cabinet member for economic development and infrastructure, said: “The Entertainer toy shop is a welcome addition to our new Barons Quay development joining the growing number of retailers including H&M, Sports Direct and Patisserie Valerie.”
