Traffic stopped on the M6
THERE are long delays on the M6 this evening, Monday, after a crash.
The northbound carriageway was stopped at 5.30pm following the accident close to junction 21 at Woolston.
One lane was initially closed but the whole carriageway was stopped later. It has now been reopened but 45 minute delays remain.
The vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes have reopened.
Very slow traffic is being reported back to Knutsford.
