A NUMBER of burglaries took place in Davenham over the weekend.

Police are appealing for information after a number of incidents between Friday afternoon and this morning, Monday.

Between 3pm on Friday, November 16 and 8.25am on Saturday, November 17 a burglary took place at a bowling club in Laburnum Road.

Offenders broke in through the front door and stole money from the till.

At 11.52pm on Saturday, November 17 offenders targeted a restaurant in Church Street via the back door and stole a quantity of cash before running away from the scene.

Between 7.30pm on Sunday, November 18 and 8.30am this morning, Monday, November 19, offenders broke into a lock-up in Eaton Lane and stole a number of tools.

Officers at Northwich Local Policing Unit are currently investigating each burglary and are carrying out a number of enquiries in the area.

DC Chris Palmer said: “There have been a number of break-ins over the weekend and we are working hard to find those responsible.

"We believe that these incidents may be linked and our enquiries are ongoing, we are appealing to the local community for any information that could help us trace those responsible.

“Were you in the area at the time of any of these incidents and have seen anyone acting suspiciously? Any information – no matter how small – could help us to piece together each case.”

Anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 243765 for the bowling club burglary, IML 244503 for the restaurant break-in and IML 245452 for the tools stolen.
