TOFT Cricket Club has been bowled over by its success in the Community Pride competition run by Cheshire Community Action.
The club received a Little Gem Award, scoring 27 points out of a possible 30 from the judges who visited the club during the summer.
“We were delighted to win the award and were very proud of our floral displays at the front of the club – they were absolutely magnificent,” said Katherine Wasilewska, the club’s pavilion manager.
“The flowers were grown by our treasurer Peter Watson, who also created the displays.”
