THREE generations of the same family will take part in Sunday’s Remembrance commemorations in Holmes Chapel.
Mike Street, a member of Holmes Chapel Royal British Legion, will carry the branch’s standard in the parade, which will be marshalled by his son David.
Mike’s granddaughter Sophia Dooley will also have a role to play in the parade, carrying the standard for the Holmes Chapel Rainbows.
The parade will assemble at 9.15am at Holmes Chapel Health Centre before setting off at 9.30am to St Luke’s Church for a Remembrance Service at 10am and wreath laying and prayers at 11am at the war memorial.
The village’s Remembrance commemorations are due to be attended by Holmes Chapel MP Fiona Bruce.
