A MAN has been charged with drug and driving offences after being pulled over on the M6 near Knutsford.
The 29-year-old from Manchester was driving a van northbound near junction 19 around noon yesterday, Thursday, when he was stopped by police.
Officers have today charged him with being concerned in the supply of a class A drug – cocaine – and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He appeared before magistrates in Crewe today, Friday, and has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Chester Crown Court on November 16.
