FIRST Responders chairman Sal Thompson is looking to drum up volunteers for bucket collections at Booths supermarket in Knutsford.
“We are one of Booths charities this year, and they have very generously given us four dates to do bucket collections all day in store,” said Sal, chairman of Knutsford Community First Responders Trust.
“This obviously means we need lots of help, hopefully from the general public, to do the collections, which are on October 26 and December 6, 15 and 23.”
Friday, October 26 is Booths Christmas Book Launch, where it will be having cookery demonstrations and tastings.
Booths Christmas Extravaganza is on Thursday, December 6, and Sal is inviting local choirs and groups to take up an hour slot to come and sing carols in the supermarket on December 15 and 23.
She said: “We are seeking volunteers to hold collection buckets any groups who could spare some time and talent to come and sing.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call 07704 288779.
