KNUTSFORD Mayor Cllr Peter Coan and town councillor Andrew Malloy enjoyed their taste of Knutsford.
A group of eateries which are passionate about food and their town have created Taste Knutsford, a walking food tour to give residents and visitors a flavour of the huge range of restaurants, bars and specialist cafes in the town.
The Mayor and Cllr Malloy attended the launch of the tour, which they hailed as a great success.
“It went really well, and all the venues excelled in what they provided,” said Cllr Malloy.
“The guide was fantastic. It costs £45, and you get to visit 12 venues, where you get to speak to those who produce the food and get to understand the background of the restaurants, bars and cafes.
“It’s a really good way for people who know that Knutsford is a food destination but can’t round everywhere.”
Cllr Malloy urged fellow town councillors to promote the tours, which start on October 26, with subsequent tours on November 16 and 17.
