THE Courthouse in Knutsford has launched the first phase of bedrooms in the East wing of the historic property.

Seven additional Signature rooms will be revealed over the coming months, totalling five in each of the East and West wings.

A further 40 bedrooms are due to be delivered to the rear of the site and due to open in 2020.

Following extensive restoration, The Courthouse launched in 2017 as an events space (The Court Room and The Moneypenny Suite) alongside Barristers Restaurant and Bar, serving food and bespoke cocktails.

The bedrooms have been individually designed and created by owners Dominic and Oliver Heywood and inspired by the unique history, character and architecture of the iconic building.

The bedrooms have been influenced by past ‘visitors and characters’ of the Courthouse, with today’s guests invited to discover the unusual stories from its many years as a Crown Court.

In the coming months five signature bedrooms will be completed in the East wing and five in the West wing, all varying in size.

Each bedroom has been individually designed with bespoke furniture selected specifically to fit its unique proportions with vibrant colour schemes.

The owners have scoured reclamation yards and antique fairs across the north sourcing unusual furniture for the bedrooms.
