A BOLTON car park is offering shoppers more ways to pay for their stay.
Market Place, Bolton, is also hoping that the new method of payment will help speed up people exiting the car park.
As well as being able to pay by cash, shoppers now have the option of credit card and contactless payment, as well as Apple and Android pay at one of the pay stations which are now on every level of the centre.
The new system is camera-based, matching customers’ car registrations to their ticket.
Parking at Market Place is free for the first 60 minutes and after 5pm, and just £1 for 1 to 2.5 hours, £2 for 2.5 to 3.5 hours and £4 for 3.5 hours or more. Customers of The Light cinema can also get their parking tickets validated to park for free when they see a film.
