A WOMAN has been charged with driving while over the alcohol limit following a crash on the M6.
The 68-year-old, from Brighouse in Yorkshire, was arrested at the scene – the southbound M6 between junctions 19 and 18 – around 5pm on Sunday, after blowing a roadside breath test.
She will appear at Stockport Magistrates Court on Monday 20 August.
The crash involved three cars and a coach. There were no injuries.
Police posted on Twitter that a female had been detained, having ‘blown 102 at the roadside’. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
