Police were called on Monday morning
POLICE are making inquiries into an assault at a hotel in Knutsford.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 8.42am on Monday, July 9 officers were called to reports of an assault inside a hotel on Toft Road, Knutsford.
“Officers attended the scene and found that a 35-year-old man from Manchester had been assaulted.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
“Inquiries in relation to the incident are currently ongoing and no arrest have taken place.”
