FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspected deliberate fire at a building site in Wilmslow Road in Handforth through the night.
One fire engine from Wilmslow was sent to the site at 3.35am where firefighters tackle a fire at the rear of a house.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: “Fire crews were called to a fire at a building site on Wilmslow Road, Handforth. Crews tackled a fire which was made up of a large amount of building materials at the rear of a house.
“Crews used a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel jet to put out the fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
