CUDDINGTON Bowling Club has received a donation to help with the upkeep of the popular green.

Taylor Wimpey North donated £1000 to the club when it heard that the 82-year-old club needed support.

Based on Cuddington Recreation Ground, the bowling club hosts a range of activities to welcome people into bowling, including free tuition and spectator events.

Keith Kenyon, treasurer at the club, said: “We help people all over the area stay active and introduce them to this lovely sport from any age.

“The new mower will make such a difference to the upkeep of the grounds; we are very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for the support.”

Stuart Craig, head of sales for Taylor Wimpey north west, said: “Since being on site at Eden Grange, we have contributed to a number of causes, including Weaverham Cricket Club, Northwich Festival and Cuddington AFC.

“We’re always keen to support the communities in which we build.

“We’ll be supporting the Cuddington Bowling Club all the way.”
