KNUTSFORD Town Council is seeking the views of the public on plans to run a food tour of the town.

Town centre manager Sandra Curties said: “Knutsford Town Council has been working with lots of Knutsford restaurants and cafes to introduce a food tour into the town.

“The idea is to boost footfall and tourism into the town by using the vast number of eateries Knutsford has.

“The food tour would be a walking tour taking in around 10 eateries.

“The tour would be hosted by an enthusiastic tour guide armed with foodie facts and local knowledge with the sole aim of ensuring people come away full.

“The council wants to ensure it gets this right, and is asking for the public’s help with market research.

“It would be very grateful if people could take a couple of minutes to complete its short survey, which is completely anonymous and very quick to do.

“We have had 127 responses in less than 24 hours, which is great.”
