SNAPP Happy founders Carol-Ann Reid and Jo Moore are seeking the public’s votes in a bid to pitch to Sir Richard Branson.

Snapp Happy has entered the Virgin Media Business VOOM Pitch competition to be in with a chance of sharing their business and vision of helping children and adults of all ages with their confidence, resilience and mental wellbeing.

Carol-Ann from Macclesfield and Jo from Mobberley designed Snapp Happy bands alongside a range of workshops and programmes for schools and businesses to help people overcome negative self-talk and anxiety, empowering people to take their happiness back into their own hands.

Snapp Happy bands are underpinned with a cognitive behavioural therapy technique.

“With support from the general public’s votes we can be in with a chance of pitching to Sir Richard Branson later this month,” said Carol-Ann.

“The prizes are to win a share of one million pounds and business mentorship from leading entrepreneurs around the world.

“Any money raised through the pledges and competition will allow us to provide free Snapp Happy bands and workshops in schools around the north west.

“This would be a dream come true for us to be able to reach out and support even more people as we have seen the dramatic rise in mental statistics over the past few years - we want to make an impact now to help the future generations too.”
