TATTON MP Esther McVey toasted the success of this year’s Knutsford Beer Festival at last night’s sponsors and VIP session.
The festival takes place at Egerton Youth Club tonight, from 7pm to 11.30pm, and tomorrow, from midday to 4pm and 6pm to 11.30pm.
“We were delighted that Esther could come along and support the event,” said festival chairman and founder Andrew Malloy.
“She seemed to have a really good night, and spoke to a lot of people.”
Ms McVey said: “Visiting the preview evening was a great way of spending a Thursday night.
“It was lovely to meet local brewers and local business owners who were enjoying the range of beers on offer.
“The festival over the weekend looks as though it will benefit from fantastic weather, so I am looking forward to hearing it has been a sell-out.”
The festival features 30 cask and 12 keg ales, four ciders and a gin, prosecco and wine bar.
