Judge Jules to feature at Eivissa Partido at Legh Arms

Paul is the landlord at The Legh Arms, which is playing host to the annual May Day event Eivissa Partido – which translates as Ibiza Party.

The show comes with a soundtrack of classic and current house music performed in front of an intimate crowd, and this year’s event features legendary DJ Judge Jules.

The evening is being staged by local DJ and producer Mike McGuinness, aka Lempo, who has been putting on the annual May Day party for four years.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome a DJ who has been there, done that and then done it again,” said Mike.

“The man himself will be in town this May Day to pass judgement – the one and only Judge Jules.

“Jules has been synonymous with Ibiza clubland since the late 90s, with his Judgement nights standing as one of the longest-running residencies on the island.”

Paul said this would be his first May Day in charge at The Legh Arms, and he was ‘over the moon’ to be continuing the Eivissa Partido legacy.

He said: “It’s absolutely huge to have someone like Judge Jules – a one in a million opportunity to see a dance music legend in as intimate a space at The Legh Arms – I can’t wait.”

Supporting Judge Jules and Lempo are DJ Ruff Diamond, Phil Hickson and Stu Smith.

Wristbands for the event are £10, and are available over the bar.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 5, from 8pm to 1am. It is limited to 300 people, and is for over-18s only.

Mike added: “It doesn’t get much more prestigious than this – bringing dance music’s most successful DJs to an intimate venue in your home town. It’s going to be a really special night.

“This is the fifth year, and each year has been bigger and better than the last.

“I’m massively proud of what we have created – Eivissa Partido has become one of Knutsford May Day’s traditions – long may it continue.”

Previous years have seen Mike attract the likes of Artful Dodger, Brandon Block, K-Klass and Phats and Small.
